In the German Standard Saturday Courses you will learn once a week the listening, writing, reading and conversation skills according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The course is particularly suitable for working people who want to learn German continuously. The course also prepares students for internationally recognized language certificates. To ensure that you make rapid progress, only German is spoken in class.

The German Standard Saturday courses are aimed at people who would like to learn German continuously in addition to their main job. You can complete this course with a 100% workload.
For the courses A1-B2 you can redeem the education voucher of the canton Basel-Stadt once.
For an initial assessment of your language level, use the language test below. Take about 20 minutes of your time.

For people who have moved to Basel-Stadt and have received an education voucher, this course at levels A1 to B2 is financed by the Education Department of Basel-Stadt. Please bring your voucher and your identity card for foreigners to the registration.
